Find Out Who Is Linking To You

Today I found a cool little FREE website that everyone in internet marketing should know about. I am participating in a beta test for a brand new site…and I needed a way to check to see how many backlinks I have. So off to Google I went…
On Tuesday, I got an email from Jon Leger asking me if I would like to be a beta tester for his new project. If you know anything about Jon, you know that he only creates high quality internet marketing products. (For example, he created the Instant Article Wizard)…so needless to say, I was very happy to be a part of his beta testing group…
I won’t reveal the site just yet, but I will report my progress…and you will see it here first when the site launches to the general public. I’ll give you a hint. The project has to do with getting one way links, linking to your main site. Its a powerful concept. I’ll just refer to this project as the JLP (Jon Leger Project) for now.
Be prepared, Jon is planning on launching this project sometime in July if everything goes well. Watch this space!
…anyways, back to main reason I’m writing about this today, is because I found a handy little free tool to check who is linking to my site.
When JLP beta launched, I decided to make sure that I am monitoring the results precisely. So I had to find a way to track all my back links, and I didn’t feel like spending a lot of money on expensive software just to find out who is linking to me. So I did a quick Google search, and finally found a free website that did exactly what I needed. That site is WhoLinksToMe.com
So starting today, I will start posting my results weekly. AS of today, June 21st, 2007 I have 79 backlinks pointing towards my site at Ken Troyer.com
It will be exciting to see how this experiment works, and how many links I will get pointing back to my site each week.
Stay tuned.
Ken
